Google Authenticator, as the name implies, is 2FA authentication software created and maintained by Google. It was first made available in late 2010, making it one of (if not the) longest standing 2FA solutions available. The source code was made publicly available through version 2.12, so it's possible that other available 2FA solutions were originally based on it. While its interface is relatively simple compared to some more full featured options, both its longevity and name recognition help keep its popularity firmly established. It is currently available for Android, iOS, and Blackberry OS.
Due to the fact that we are not responsible for maintaining the software, the appearance and functionality may change at any time. For this reason we do not provide a how to article on setting up the software. Instead, please download it from the appropriate service and follow the appropriate instructions.
After installing and setting up the software, please visit our page on setting up 2FA authentication for your Beaxy account here.
